Prophix has announced the release of version 2025.2.2 of its Cloud platform, bringing several new features and fixes designed to optimise system performance and reliability. This major update marks an important step forward in automated database management and the resolution of critical bugs.
Enhanced options for rebuilding database indexes
Among the Prophix updates, particular focus has been placed on database index management. To address performance issues, especially when data imports may risk blocking the system, Prophix has introduced two new methods for rebuilding these indexes:
A new system job named SysIndexRebuild is now enabled by default and scheduled to run weekly, on Saturdays at 23:59. This automation is intended to ensure optimal performance is maintained.
In addition, users now have a manual option allowing them to create an “Index Rebuild” job. This feature makes it possible to intervene as needed and specifically target certain tables.
This first phase of the solution paves the way for more robust improvements that will be deployed in future releases.
Important fixes for greater stability
Version 2025.2.2 also fixes several issues identified on the Prophix Cloud platform. The most significant include:
Data updates via external files, which were previously blocked, are now working again.
The report analysis tool has been adjusted to take intercompany relationships into account in proportional calculations.
Issues accessing certain data entry paths, as well as anomalies in the display and management of manual data, have been resolved.
Finally, task automation functions have been improved to ensure imports run smoothly even when automatic authorisation is enabled.
