As part of the Choose France initiative, Workday announced an investment of more than 200 million euros in France over the next three years. This announcement reflects the software company’s commitment to supporting business transformation in the age of artificial intelligence, while focusing on skills development and employment.

Known for its human resources and finance management solutions, Workday believes that the artificial intelligence revolution extends beyond technological infrastructure. While data centers and computing capacity are essential components of this ecosystem, the company considers that the real challenges lie in the evolution of jobs, processes and skills.

At the heart of this vision is agentic AI, a new generation of artificial intelligence capable of performing certain tasks autonomously and assisting employees in their daily activities. For Workday, this development will have a lasting impact on the organization of work and companies’ talent requirements.

With this in mind, the software company intends to invest not only in technological innovation, but also in developing the skills required to fully capitalize on these advances. The company emphasizes that the successful adoption of AI will largely depend on organizations’ ability to train their employees in new uses and new ways of working.

This ambition is being realized in particular through the Workday Talent Booster program, launched this year with the support of France Travail and Liora By Omnes. The initiative aims to train and support several hundred people in France in their transition to employment, in order to meet the market’s growing need for digital and artificial intelligence skills.

For Workday, the challenge goes beyond simply deploying new technologies. The company believes that the coming years will see the emergence of a genuine “AI generation” made up of professionals capable of collaborating effectively with intelligent tools and harnessing their potential to drive organizational performance.

With this significant investment, Workday is reaffirming its commitment to innovation, training and employment in France. This approach reflects the growing conviction that the success of digital transformation depends as much on talent as it does on technology itself.
