Solver has announced the launch of a new offering dedicated to the restaurant sector. Designed for multi-site groups, this solution aims to address the growing challenges of financial and operational management in an environment marked by high cost volatility.

Between raw material inflation, pressure on labour costs and the complexity of multi-unit operations, restaurant businesses are now operating in a particularly demanding environment. The proliferation of systems – point of sale, inventory management, human resources and ERP – often makes it difficult to access a consolidated and reliable view of performance.

A unified approach across finance and operations

With this new solution, Solver aims to overcome the limitations of traditional financial reporting. The objective is to reconcile financial and operational data within a single platform capable of providing a real-time view of the business.

At the heart of this approach is Solver Copilot, an artificial intelligence layer that automates analysis, identifies significant variances and generates predictive insights. This advanced analytical capability is designed to facilitate decision-making for both finance leaders and operational managers in the field.

Three performance levers for restaurant groups

The solution is built around several key areas:

  • Accelerating planning processes: through automated cycles (including 4-4-5) and simulation models, finance teams can reduce their dependence on Excel files and focus more on analysis.
  • Controlling costs at unit level: automated variance identification enables food and labour cost overruns to be detected quickly and addressed accordingly.
  • Data centralisation: by integrating with solutions such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, the platform consolidates all data from the various business systems to provide a single source of truth.

A response to a sector under pressure

According to projections from the National Restaurant Association, the restaurant sector is expected to reach $1.55 trillion in revenue in 2026, while continuing to face particularly thin margins. In this context, the ability to manage costs precisely and respond quickly to changes is becoming a key factor in competitiveness.

Solver’s proposed solution is part of this trend, extending planning and analysis capabilities beyond the finance function to make them accessible to all operational stakeholders.

Planning enhanced by artificial intelligence

With this announcement, Solver confirms its ambition to position artificial intelligence as a central driver for transforming management processes. By combining automation, modelling and predictive analytics, the platform aims to help organisations turn their data into a lasting strategic advantage.

In a sector where every decision can directly affect profitability, this development marks a further step towards more agile, connected and action-oriented planning.
