Anaplan is enhancing its platform with major innovations, making the user experience more intuitive.
Here is a summary of these changes:
UX
UX ergonomics are improving with advanced column customisation and an absolute sizing mode for bubble and scatter charts. These adjustments make visual analysis and data interpretation easier.
Workflows
Workflows are becoming more streamlined with the addition of contextual labels in email notifications, enabling approvers to identify their tasks more easily. In addition, the mobile app now allows tasks to be created offline, ensuring continuity of work in all circumstances.
Anaplan Data Orchestrator
Data orchestration is becoming more efficient with the ability to create transformation views directly from a dataset. The data lineage map now includes category-based sorting and improved readability. Extraction speed now reaches 500,000 cells per second, ensuring faster synchronisation.
However, the legacy S3 and Azure Blob connectors can no longer be used to create new connections.
Anaplan Disclosure Management
For document management, flexibility is increasing with the assignment of administrators to subfolders and the ability to change the status of a folder's data sources in one click. Exports now include PowerPoint in addition to PDF, with the option to automatically add attachments converted to PDF. The interface has also been optimised with document previews and clear identification of read-only files.
Finally, migrating the source code to .NET Core 8 improves the platform's stability and security, strengthening its resilience against threats.
