Pigment simplifies data orchestration with Data Flows.
23 April 2025
Pigment offers a new way to automate data management tasks with Data Flows. This feature enables multiple data import or update actions to be grouped together and triggered at once, directly from a dashboard. The result: fewer clicks, fewer errors, and greater efficiency for teams.
A powerful automation tool accessible to everyone
Data Flows enable authorised users to group Metric to Metric data imports within a single flow, which can be triggered via an action button integrated into a dashboard. Clear configuration options make it possible to name the flow, associate business descriptions with it, and precisely define the target blocks.
Managing parallel execution
Currently, all Data Actions within a flow are executed in parallel. This requires particular vigilance when they act on the same block, as the execution order is not guaranteed. Sequential execution is under development, which will further enhance the reliability of complex processing chains.
Simple implementation and centralised management
From the application settings, creating, modifying, or duplicating Data Flows is intuitive. Each flow can then be triggered from a Board via a dedicated widget. The execution history can also be viewed, providing complete visibility into the processing carried out.
