Oracle and Google Cloud announce a strategic expansion of their partnership, now giving Oracle customers direct access to Google Gemini artificial intelligence models, starting with Gemini 2.5, through the OCI Generative AI service. A development that could fundamentally transform how organisations operate.
Thanks to this integration, businesses will be able to harness the power of Gemini to create AI agents capable of automating the collection, analysis and presentation of financial and operational data. From budget forecasting and scenario simulation to multimodal analysis (text, charts, images), Google's AI integrated into the Oracle ecosystem opens up new opportunities to accelerate planning cycles and improve decision-making accuracy.
Oracle also plans to integrate Gemini models via Vertex AI directly into Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, including the Finance, HR and Supply Chain modules, which are often connected to Oracle EPM Cloud solutions. This synergy would give EPM users the ability to:
generate AI-assisted financial reports,
automate consolidation and reconciliation tasks,
benefit from predictive analytics to anticipate budget variances,
improve cross-departmental collaboration through intelligent assistants.
