Jedox is enhancing its enterprise performance management platform with several improvements announced for August 2026. This new version places particular emphasis on artificial intelligence capabilities dedicated to reporting, knowledge and scenario analysis.
Among the main new features, the Reporting Agent benefits from improved result presentation. Dynamic tables and charts generated from queries now have more descriptive names, enabling users to identify the content produced by the agent more easily.
The transparency of AI-generated responses is also evolving. The Knowledge Agent now displays a citation badge at the end of its responses, with links to the knowledge base articles used as sources. This feature provides greater visibility into the origin of the information supplied by the agent.
Faster and more interactive responses
Jedox is also introducing response streaming in the Reporting Agent. Users can therefore see results appear progressively as they are generated, rather than waiting for the response to be produced in full. The objective is notably to reduce the perceived waiting time when interacting with the agent.
The platform is also expanding the possibilities for comparing different versions. Whereas the Reporting Agent was previously limited to certain comparisons, particularly between actual data and the budget, users can now compare different supported versions. This enhancement makes it easier to analyse multiple planning assumptions and scenarios.
An evolution focused on AI
The update also introduces adjustments to the Canvas environment, with a new Dynatables creation window whose appearance is aligned with that used for charts.
Through these developments, Jedox is continuing to integrate artificial intelligence into everyday EPM use cases. The goal is not only to automate report production, but also to facilitate data interpretation, improve the traceability of responses and provide greater flexibility in scenario analysis.
This new version therefore illustrates a broader trend in the EPM market: bringing traditional planning, reporting and analysis capabilities closer to new use cases linked to artificial intelligence.
