Wolters Kluwer announces the selection of CCH Tagetik by Daihatsu Motor to modernize its budgeting management system and centralize the management of its financial data.
Daihatsu Motor has chosen CCH Tagetik Intelligent Platform, Wolters Kluwer’s Corporate Performance Management solution, as its new budgeting management system. The Japanese automaker thus aims to develop its financial infrastructure to better adapt to market changes and evolving planning assumptions.
To support this project, Dentsu Soken is acting as the integration partner, providing support covering requirements definition, solution implementation, and operations and maintenance following deployment.
Centralized budgeting management
With CCH Tagetik, Daihatsu will be able to centralize different management scenarios on a single platform. Budgets, revised budgets, and forecasts can all be managed in a common environment, facilitating comparisons between the different versions and analysis of variances between forecasts and actual results.
The solution also makes it possible to adapt management dimensions, periods, and scopes according to the company’s needs. Its interface also retains a familiar approach for users accustomed to spreadsheets, while incorporating structured data entry and validation processes.
A platform designed to evolve
The choice of CCH Tagetik also reflects Daihatsu’s desire to have a platform that can progressively support the evolution of its management processes.
The company will therefore be able to start with budgeting management before considering an extension to other performance management areas. This approach will make it possible to rely on a common infrastructure while limiting the maintenance requirements associated with custom developments.
Through this project, Daihatsu aims to have a more flexible and centralized environment for its budgeting management, with a solution capable of supporting the evolution of its activities and planning processes.
