Cube and Campfire have announced a new integration designed to strengthen continuity between accounting processes and financial planning. The collaboration aims to give finance departments faster access to up-to-date data while facilitating analysis, forecasting and decision-making.
Campfire, presented as an AI-native ERP, enables companies to manage their accounting and financial close operations with a high level of automation. Cube, meanwhile, positions itself as a financial management platform capable of transforming accounting data into actionable insights for forecasting, performance analysis and reporting.
Real-time data flow
With this integration, general ledger data managed in Campfire can be automatically synchronized with Cube as soon as a change is recorded in the accounts. The aim is to reduce the time between the accounting close and the use of data by FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) teams.
Users can therefore access financial information more quickly to support their forecasts, variance analyses and reports intended for management.
A data transparency-focused approach
The two vendors also highlight the traceability of financial information. Each data point analyzed in Cube can be linked to the original accounting transaction recorded in Campfire.
This transparency is intended to strengthen confidence in AI-generated analyses and enable finance teams to easily verify the origin of the figures used in forecasts or recommendations.
Artificial intelligence serving financial performance
Highlighted features include AI-assisted forecasting, automated performance variance analysis and the ability to query financial data in natural language.
The integration also makes it possible to consolidate different sources of information, including accounting data, customer relationship management (CRM) systems and HR solutions, to provide a more comprehensive view of company performance.
This announcement illustrates the financial solutions market’s shift toward increasingly connected platforms capable of unifying accounting, planning and analysis within a single data ecosystem.
By bringing financial close processes and management activities closer together, Cube and Campfire aim to simplify finance teams’ work and accelerate the transition from accounting data to strategic decision-making.
The integration is now available to all customers shared by both platforms.
