Cube and Campfire have announced a new integration designed to strengthen continuity between accounting processes and financial planning. This collaboration aims to provide finance departments with faster access to up-to-date data while facilitating analysis, forecasting and decision-making.
Campfire, described as an artificial intelligence-native ERP, enables companies to manage their accounting and financial close operations with a high level of automation. Cube, for its part, positions itself as a financial performance management platform capable of transforming accounting data into actionable insights for forecasting, performance analysis and reporting.
Real-time data flow
Thanks to this integration, General Ledger data managed in Campfire can be automatically synchronised with Cube as soon as a change is recorded in the accounts. The objective is to reduce the time between financial close and the use of data by FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) teams.
Users can therefore access financial information more quickly to support their forecasts, variance analyses and reports for management bodies.
An approach focused on data transparency
The two vendors also highlight the traceability of financial information. Each data point analysed in Cube can be linked back to the original accounting transaction recorded in Campfire.
This transparency aims to strengthen confidence in analyses produced by artificial intelligence and enable finance teams to easily verify the origin of figures used in forecasts or recommendations.
Artificial intelligence supporting financial performance
Highlighted features include AI-assisted forecast generation, automated performance variance analysis, and the ability to query financial data in natural language.
The integration also makes it possible to consolidate different sources of information, including accounting data, customer relationship management (CRM) systems and HR solutions, in order to provide a more comprehensive view of company performance.
This announcement illustrates the evolution of the financial solutions market towards increasingly connected platforms capable of unifying accounting, planning and analysis within a single data ecosystem.
By bringing financial close processes and performance management activities closer together, Cube and Campfire aim to simplify the work of finance teams and accelerate the transition from accounting data to strategic decision-making.
The integration is now available to all customers shared by both platforms.
