The planning and performance management solutions provider Board has announced the signing of a new customer in the retail sector, MQ Marqet AB. This project, carried out in collaboration with partner K.Group, aims to deploy a unified planning platform covering all the retailer’s key processes.
Founded in 1957, MQ Marqet AB is a Swedish company specialising in fashion and apparel retail. The retailer offers products for men and women, combining own brands and partner brands, and relies on a network of physical stores complemented by an e-commerce presence. Operating in a rapidly changing retail market, the company is evolving in an environment shaped by the digitalisation of the customer journey, the rise of omnichannel retail and the need to optimise supply chains.
This initiative comes as MQ Marqet renews its information systems, with its current ERP and planning solutions reaching the end of their lifecycle. The company has therefore launched a comprehensive review of its tools to improve supply chain performance, reduce manual tasks and limit its reliance on Excel-based processes.
The solution implemented by Board is intended to centralise several dimensions of retail management, including allocation and replenishment, merchandise financial planning (MFP), budget management (OTB/WSSI), as well as assortment and collection planning. The objective is to provide an integrated environment capable of supporting faster decision-making that is better aligned with operational priorities.
In a statement, Carl-Fredrik Liljeström, Head of Digital and Supply Chain at MQ Marqet, emphasised that this project is part of a broader transformation effort: rethinking internal ways of working while relying on more scalable tools adapted to future needs.
For Board, this new collaboration illustrates the growing demand among retail players for unified planning platforms capable of covering both financial and operational dimensions. It also confirms the market momentum around solutions designed to replace legacy tools and fragmented practices with integrated approaches.
This deployment marks a further step in MQ Marqet’s digital transformation, with the ambition of strengthening the transparency, agility and forecasting capabilities of its planning activities.
