Wokday today announced the launch of Workday Build, a new platform for developers. This initiative aims to give customers and partners the ability to design, share and deploy artificial intelligence-powered enterprise solutions directly within Workday.
With Workday Build, companies are no longer limited to consuming AI; they can now create and customise it to meet their specific needs. The platform notably includes Workday Flowise Agent Builder, a low-code tool that makes it easy to design and manage secure AI agents tailored to business contexts, leveraging the company's HR and financial data.
“The era of standardised enterprise software is over,” explains Peter Bailis, Workday's Chief Technology Officer. “Workday Build enables our customers to move from passive use of AI to actively creating intelligent solutions, while benefiting from Workday's security and reliability.”
The platform also includes:
New AI developer tools, including a Developer Copilot to accelerate productivity and Agent Gateway to easily connect AI agents to Workday systems.
Workday Data Cloud, providing direct access to HR and financial data to generate deeper insights and smarter solutions.
A Workday Marketplace and partner ecosystem providing access to certified solutions tailored to the specific needs of each industry and region.
A global developer community, fostering learning, certification and collaboration around enterprise AI.
Workday Flowise Agent Builder and Workday Data Cloud will be available to customers in the first half of 2026.
With this initiative, Workday confirms its commitment to putting AI at the heart of tomorrow's work, giving companies the means to transform their data into intelligent, customised solutions.
