Vena Solutions announces the general availability of Vena Financial Consolidation, a solution designed to support companies facing increasingly complex multi-entity consolidation processes.
Vena Solutions has announced the launch of Vena Financial Consolidation, a standalone solution for the financial consolidation of organizations managing multiple entities, currencies and ownership structures. The aim is to simplify close processes while strengthening their governance, automation and traceability.
Consolidation for complex structures
The new solution builds on the consolidation capabilities already offered by Vena, while adding an engine designed to address more advanced needs. It notably supports intercompany reconciliations and eliminations, multi-currency conversion, ownership and equity structures, as well as consolidation adjustments.
Vena is also adding several control mechanisms, including workflow management, versioning, period locking, entity-level security and audit history. These features are intended to help finance teams better track the origin of data, the rules applied and the various changes made throughout the process.
Keeping the Excel environment
One of the key elements highlighted by Vena is its Excel-native approach. Finance teams can continue working in the familiar Microsoft Excel environment, while the platform provides additional structure and controls around consolidation data and processes.
This approach addresses a reality that is still widespread in finance departments. According to the FP&A Impact Report 2026 cited by Vena, 90% of finance professionals surveyed still use Microsoft Excel for modeling and reporting.
The challenge is therefore not necessarily to replace Excel, but rather to limit the difficulties that arise when processes become too complex to manage with files and manual reconciliations.
AI for financial analysis
Vena Financial Consolidation also incorporates artificial intelligence capabilities through Vena AI. These can notably help teams detect variances, identify anomalies, explain certain changes and produce analyses for executives.
Vena nevertheless emphasizes the importance of having a governed environment when AI is involved in processes related to financial results. The company therefore highlights data traceability, access controls and workflows as elements that help maintain a trusted framework.
Connecting consolidation, planning and reporting
Beyond consolidation alone, Vena aims to bring several financial processes together within a single environment. Organizations that also use its planning and reporting capabilities can therefore connect their consolidated actuals to forecasts, plans and performance analyses.
This approach is intended to reduce manual transfers between different tools and the reconciliations required when consolidation, planning and reporting are managed separately.
Vena presents this development as a step toward its Orchestrated Planning, Decisioning and Close model, which seeks to connect financial close, consolidation, planning, reporting and decision-making.
A new step for Vena
With the general availability of Vena Financial Consolidation, the vendor is therefore expanding its positioning among finance departments. The solution can be adopted independently or integrated with the planning and reporting processes already used in Vena.
For companies that have outgrown the limitations of consolidation performed primarily in spreadsheets, the proposed approach seeks to provide greater automation and control while preserving the Excel experience.
Through this new offering, Vena therefore aims to bring financial data, consolidation, planning and analysis closer together, with the objective of enabling Finance teams to move more quickly from closed results to understanding and decision-making.
