SERB Pharmaceuticals is transforming its financial processes by leveraging the unified CCH Tagetik platform for its statutory consolidation. This initiative aims to modernise the Group’s reporting and consolidation tools in order to meet its growing financial management and performance needs.
Founded in 1995, SERB Pharmaceuticals is an international pharmaceutical company specialising in treatments for critical care and rare diseases. Present in numerous countries, the Group develops, acquires and markets medicines that address medical needs that are often insufficiently covered. Its product portfolio is aimed in particular at healthcare professionals working in emergency situations and with complex conditions requiring specialised treatments.
As part of its financial transformation, SERB Pharmaceuticals has launched a strategic project to replace its legacy SAP Business Financial Consolidation (BFC) system. To support this change, the company selected the CCH Tagetik solution, recognised for its consolidation, reporting and financial analysis capabilities within an integrated platform.
The project is supported by Ginesis Finance, which is responsible for the business project management assistance (AMOA) assignment, while Satriun France is implementing the solution. The teams will notably rely on the Consolidation Starter Kit developed by Satriun to accelerate deployment and ensure successful implementation.
Beyond the technology replacement, this transformation pursues several objectives. SERB Pharmaceuticals aims to strengthen its ability to analyse financial data, improve the quality and availability of decision-making information, while optimising consolidation and reporting processes. The Group also intends to foster better collaboration between its various finance teams and provide users with a more modern and intuitive working environment.
The choice of CCH Tagetik should enable the company to benefit from a unified platform capable of supporting its growth ambitions while meeting increasing requirements for financial compliance and transparency.
At a time when finance departments are seeking greater agility and visibility over their performance, this project illustrates the modernisation trend currently affecting many organisations. Replacing legacy solutions with unified financial performance management platforms is part of a broader trend aimed at simplifying processes, strengthening data reliability and accelerating decision-making.
