The Derichebourg Group, a major SBF 120 player with revenue of €3.3 billion, has announced its selection of the Anaplan platform to modernise and secure its financial consolidation processes. This decision forms part of the migration of its legacy SAP FC solution.
In a context of accelerated transformation within finance departments, an increasing number of companies are reviewing their consolidation tools to gain agility, reliability and analytical capabilities. The project undertaken by Derichebourg illustrates this underlying trend, driven by a desire to streamline processes and improve the overall performance of financial management.
The deployment of the Anaplan platform is intended in particular to accelerate the closing cycle, while enhancing the quality and traceability of financial data. The company also intends to leverage this new architecture to meet growing regulatory compliance requirements, particularly with the entry into force of IFRS 18.
Beyond the technical challenges, this transformation should enable finance teams to refocus their efforts on higher value-added activities, such as performance analysis and decision support. The adoption of a unified and flexible platform therefore represents a strategic lever to support the evolving role of the finance function within large organisations.
This project also confirms a market trend: the gradual replacement of legacy consolidation solutions with modern platforms capable of combining operational performance, scalability and enterprise-wide data integration.
