OneStream continues to evolve its user experience with the release of the Modern Browser Experience, version 9.2.0, an update that introduces new foundational features while strengthening the platform’s accessibility, performance and usability.
This version delivers notable improvements to dashboards, Cube Views and the overall navigation experience, while incorporating fixes and optimisations for security and privacy.
A significant enhancement of accessibility
Version 9.2.0 marks an important step forward in terms of accessibility. OneStream introduces a range of enhancements designed to make the platform easier to use for people with visual impairments or those using screen readers.
An Accessibility mode can now be enabled to apply ADA-compliant colours and patterns to certain Cube View cells. This approach improves readability for users with limited colour perception while preserving the standard visual experience for other users.
The update also includes an expansion of compatible keyboard controls, enabling smoother mouse-free navigation, particularly in dashboards.
Introduction of Dynamic Grids in dashboards
Another major development is the introduction of Dynamic Grids. This new grid component gives dashboard designers an advanced level of customisation, combined with high performance, even when working with large data volumes.
Dynamic Grids make it possible to design more flexible, interactive dashboards tailored to the specific needs of finance teams, while maintaining a seamless user experience.
Cube View Designer enhancements
The Cube View Designer also benefits from notable improvements. Its interface has been modernised to offer more intuitive usability and simplified interaction with on-screen fields and elements.
Among the key new features, users can now save a Cube View directly from the Designer, including as a separate new Cube View. This functionality makes it easier to create reporting variations without affecting existing views, a particularly valued capability in financial performance management and simulation contexts.
An update focused on user experience and performance
With version 9.2.0, OneStream confirms its commitment to continuously improving the usability, accessibility and design flexibility of its EPM platform. This update supports broader adoption by making financial performance management tools more inclusive and effective for all users.
