At its annual Splash 2026 event, OneStream presented several innovations designed to advance the use of corporate finance. The US-based software publisher is combining analytical performance, technological openness and artificial intelligence to help finance departments manage ever-increasing data volumes and accelerate their decision-making processes.
A new analytics engine for processing more data
One of the major announcements was the launch of a new analytical cube engine designed to improve the performance of complex financial models.
According to OneStream, this new architecture accelerates calculations, consolidations and data loads while significantly increasing processing capacity. The company notes in particular that some consolidations can now be run several times faster than before.
The new environment also supports much larger data volumes and introduces optimized management of so-called “sparse” financial data, which is often found in large-scale EPM projects.
Developer Studio opens the platform further to developers
The software publisher also unveiled Developer Studio, a new environment designed for technical teams and developers.
This solution enables users to work directly from standard development tools, with support for .NET projects, version control systems and AI-powered coding assistants.
With this approach, OneStream aims to simplify the development and customization of financial applications while reducing the constraints associated with proprietary environments.
SensibleAI accelerates the integration of AI into finance
On the artificial intelligence front, SensibleAI continues to evolve with the addition of new features dedicated to forecasting and automation.
OneStream notably announced simpler integration of forecast models through a native connection with the platform’s data cubes. The objective is to enable companies to deploy financial forecasting scenarios more quickly and integrate AI into their existing analytical processes.
The platform also offers new reusable components to facilitate development and integrations via API.
An architecture designed for financial AI agents
Another strategic announcement was the launch of the “Finance Agentic Layer”, a technology layer designed to host specialized artificial intelligence agents for financial use cases.
This architecture would enable companies to use different AI models and tools while maintaining a high level of governance, security and cost control.
According to OneStream, this approach aims to offer greater flexibility to organizations wishing to integrate AI agents into their financial, analytical and operational processes.
Between improved analytical performance, modernized development tools and the integration of AI agents, the software publisher is seeking to address finance departments’ growing needs for automation, execution speed and data utilization.
