PIRIOU Group, a leading independent player in shipbuilding and ship repair in France, announces the deployment of Anaplan's Financial Consolidation & Reporting (FCR) solution to modernise its statutory consolidation and financial reporting.
This initiative is part of a broader transformation of the group's finance function, aimed at improving operational efficiency, accelerating the production of consolidated financial statements and strengthening performance analysis across the group and its divisions.
A unified platform to enhance reliability and accelerate financial reporting
Against a backdrop of increasingly complex regulatory requirements and growing data volumes, PIRIOU's finance department wanted to replace its existing solution with a more modern, agile and scalable platform.
Anaplan's solution will, in particular, enable the group to:
Centralise financial data from upstream systems
Automate a significant portion of the adjustments required for consolidation
Improve the reliability of closing processes
Produce financial reports and dynamic dashboards
Improve visibility into operational and financial performance
This approach is intended to enhance the quality of financial information while reducing the time required to produce consolidated financial statements.
A transformation supporting strategic management
“Anaplan's consolidation and reporting solution appeared to fully address our current and future challenges,” said Alain Le Berre, Chief Financial Officer of PIRIOU Group. “We were looking for a flexible platform for business analysis, capable of being deployed across the group and supporting our growth.”
For his part, Laurent Martini, Managing Director EMEA at Anaplan, noted: “We are proud to support a leading industrial company at this key stage in its financial transformation. This collaboration will enable PIRIOU Group to benefit from real-time analysis and a scalable platform to support its growth.”
Towards more integrated, performance-oriented finance
With this project, PIRIOU is taking a strategic step forward in modernising its financial processes. Implementing a unified consolidation and reporting platform should enable the group to become more agile, enhance the reliability of its data and improve its overall management.
Beyond a simple change of tool, this initiative reflects the group's intention to embed its finance function in a framework of sustainable performance and active support for strategic decision-making.
