Solver offers a technology solution to the financial challenges facing the nonprofit sector.
07 April 2025
Solver has announced the official launch of its new industry model for nonprofit organizations. This model is designed to address the specific challenges faced by charitable, religious, educational, community, civic, social organizations and foundations in planning, reporting, consolidation and data analysis.
Through seamless integration with leading ERPs such as Acumatica, Sage, NetSuite and Microsoft, Solver enables data centralization, facilitating fast, fact-based decision-making aligned with mission objectives. The integrated KPIs (key performance indicators) make it possible to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the actions undertaken.
“Solver’s solution for the nonprofit sector is a true catalyst for transformation. It enables organizations to become data-driven and better measure their success,” says Loretta Keyes, Point Solutions Director at RSM US LLP.
“Our partnership with Solver reflects our shared commitment to supporting associations in achieving and measuring their impact.”
Optimizing the performance of nonprofit organizations
Solver therefore aims to optimize the financial and operational performance of nonprofit organizations through four key areas:
- budgeting and forecasting models that take into account multiple funding sources (donations, grants, membership fees, etc.) and enable detailed allocations by program, service or activity;
- an intuitive spreadsheet-like interface, with self-service creation of regulatory and financial reports (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, IRS 990 or LM-2 reports), including drill-down functionality;
- integration with Power BI and Tableau to create customized dashboards, as well as the ability to implement benchmarking models to assess performance;
- and finally, a data warehouse enabling the consolidation of data from multiple sources, ensuring a 360° view of operations.
“Choosing a suitable xFP&A solution is strategic for nonprofit organizations, where financial transparency and resource optimization are essential,” emphasizes Michael Buehner, Vice President, Nonprofit Sector at Solver. “Solver provides real-time insights that promote better governance, responsible resource management and, above all, better alignment with the organization’s mission.”
