Cube announces a new evolution of its platform by integrating a feature that enables artificial intelligence agents to interact directly with financial planning models. This advancement marks a further step in the automation of planning and forecasting processes, while maintaining a strict governance framework.
Until now, AI agents could mainly accelerate analysis and reporting tasks by responding quickly to user requests. With this new write capability, they can now create forecasts based on new assumptions, generate simulation scenarios, or build new dashboards directly within the platform.
Cube specifies, however, that these operations remain governed by security mechanisms. The write function is enabled only by an administrator, agents can intervene only in explicitly authorised scenarios, and every change is recorded to ensure full traceability of the actions performed.
The solution is compatible with several artificial intelligence environments, including OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot as well as custom connectors. This openness is intended to facilitate the integration of AI agents into the working environments already used by finance teams.
Through this development, Cube continues to enhance features designed to automate planning tasks and improve the productivity of finance departments. The objective is to enable finance professionals to devote more time to analysis and decision-making, while retaining control over data and processes.
