Cube announces a new evolution of its platform by integrating a feature that enables artificial intelligence agents to interact directly with financial planning models. This advancement marks a further step in automating planning and forecasting processes, while maintaining a strict governance framework.
Until now, AI agents could primarily accelerate analysis and reporting tasks by responding quickly to user requests. With this new writing capability, they can now create forecasts based on new assumptions, generate simulation scenarios, and even build new dashboards, directly within the platform.
Cube nevertheless specifies that these operations remain governed by security mechanisms. The writing feature is enabled only by an administrator, agents may intervene only in explicitly authorized scenarios, and every modification is recorded to ensure full traceability of the actions performed.
The solution is compatible with several artificial intelligence environments, including OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot and custom connectors. This openness is intended to facilitate the integration of AI agents into the work environments already used by finance teams.
Through this evolution, Cube continues to develop features designed to automate planning tasks and enhance the productivity of finance departments. The objective is to enable finance professionals to devote more time to analysis and decision-making, while retaining control over data and processes.
