Cube has announced the launch of a new feature called “multi-range publishing”, designed to help finance teams automate and streamline their planning and reporting processes.
This product enhancement enables users to select multiple data ranges across different tabs within the same workbook, then publish them in a single action. Processing then runs in the background, while the platform consolidates the operation into a single audit trail and applies the permissions associated with each data range.
According to Cube, this enhancement is primarily intended to reduce the repetitive tasks that FP&A and finance teams face on a daily basis, particularly in organisations managing planning processes distributed across multiple regions, departments or business units.
The vendor emphasises that this type of innovation is not necessarily intended to become a major announcement at a product event, but that it can have a tangible impact on finance team productivity. The stated objective is to eliminate certain recurring manual tasks in order to streamline budgeting and reporting cycles.
This feature is part of Cube’s broader strategy to modernise financial planning practices while retaining familiar environments such as Excel and Google Sheets. The company primarily targets finance departments seeking to strengthen collaboration and accelerate their FP&A operations without adding complexity to existing processes.
Cube customers can now access this new feature directly from their working environment. The company also offers an online demonstration of how it works through Cube.
