Amelkis modernises its Starter Kits to comply with new French accounting standards and IFRS.
24 April 2025
Amelkis has announced an update to its Starter Kits to align its tools with the latest developments in French and IFRS accounting standards. Since February 2025, users have been able to benefit from modernised versions of these kits, offering significant improvements for companies seeking regulatory compliance and financial efficiency.
Starter Kit update: a step forward for accounting standards
French standards
Amelkis has implemented crucial changes for French standards (versions 2022.06 and 2023.03). Notable changes include the introduction of new specific accounts for asset disposals and investment grants, enabling better management of the financial flows associated with these transactions. In addition, a fully revised income statement has been designed to provide greater clarity on companies’ financial performance. The expense transfer process has also been simplified, with the removal of associated obsolete accounts.
IFRS standards
With regard to IFRS standards, Amelkis has introduced OCI (Other Comprehensive Income) accounts to facilitate more in-depth management of comprehensive income items. This change meets a growing need to clearly and transparently incorporate unrealised fluctuations in financial assets. In addition, anticipation of IFRS 18, scheduled for January 2027, has led to a revision of the income statement, enabling a more structured presentation and greater transparency for investors. These adjustments are intended to simplify financial reporting while complying with new international regulatory requirements.
Customer support: towards a successful transition
To ensure smooth adoption of these new features, Amelkis set up a working group in April 2025. This group aims to support its customers in their transition to these new standards, with training sessions and personalised support. The full update of the Starter Kits is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025, enabling companies to prepare effectively for the new regulations.
This strategic update to Amelkis Starter Kits marks a turning point for companies seeking to comply with constantly evolving accounting standards. Through this initiative, Amelkis strengthens its position as a leader in financial performance management, providing its customers with increasingly powerful tools that comply with the most stringent regulatory requirements.
