Anaplan XL Reporting resulted from Anaplan's acquisition of Fluence Technologie in April 2024. This new Anaplan feature optimises financial reporting with an Excel add-in, giving businesses a solution that transforms reporting while leveraging the power of Microsost Excel.
According to the vendor, Anaplan XL Reporting provides reliable and timely insights with permissions, validations and controls around spreadsheets. Teams can then generate financial reports as needed while ensuring integrity and governance by keeping data at the source, within the Anaplan application.
This feature highlights Anaplan's paradigm shift away from being an "Excel killer" towards being a platform that enables users to get the most out of their use cases by revolutionising the way reporting is built, without losing users who want to continue using Excel for their analyses.
